Don't expect plain old vanilla or chocolate at OddFellows, the new ice cream shop from mad scientist/chef Sam Mason (a wd-50 alum) and friends. Instead, you can get flavors like toast, sprinkles (at right, tastes like birthday cake), cornbread (at right, beneath sprinkles, so very buttery), burnt caramel (at left, as deep and rich as a philosophical billionaire), chorizo and caramel (sausagey!), and sweet cream. On days like today (and Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday), you probably don't need much convincing to send this stuff down your gullet. Stay cool out there, folks.
