(Space) Invader

Matching Shoes

Williamsburg street art

These mosaics by French street artist Invader (aka Space Invader) are gone now. We post them as a reminder to cherish what you have while you have it. And, since that sounds kind of depressing, we'll let them serve further as a reminder of the manifold beauty that surrounds us, when we start paying attention. Wait, that's pretty depressing too. How about just TGIF? No one can be sad about that.

There used to be one on the old Flux Factory space in Sunnyside, Queens too! That building was torn down when they started expanding the railyards but there was one under the LIRR bridge on 43rd St... wonder if it's still there?

That's a good question -- we'll have to go check it out. Thanks!
