Sure, Za'atar may not be the equal of Taim, but comparing a neighborhood park to Yellowstone hardly seems fair. And this humble West Village spot serves up huge portions of much-more-than-serviceable Middle Eastern fare for very little money, making it a good option when you need a falafel fix and can't handle the wait a few blocks away.
