We do love a square pie, and Luzzo's in the East Village does a fine job via its margherita. Perhaps the sauce was a tad too sweet for us (shockingly), but clearly the mozzarella had been pulled with care and the crust offered a nice breadiness. We also love optical illusions, which is why we shot this photo so that the pizza would look bigger than the table.
