Bacon from Flying Pigs Farm, a compote of local blueberries, real maple syrup, and a plate of all the red fruits we could find at the market make for a lovely Sunday morning.

The crowds. The noise. The rents. Life in this city isn't always easy, but here are all the reasons why we heart New York.
Oh, looks so wonderful, and perfect crispy bacon! It can be the simplest but most perfect things that make me long to come back to New York...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much --- the sausage is good there too.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures. Mouthwatering! Can I ask you where Greenmarket is?
ReplyDeleteKind regards from Tina, Copenhagen.
Thank you, Tina. There are greenmarkets all over New York (here is the website: http://www.grownyc.org/greenmarket), but we mostly go to the one in Union Square, which is the largest. It takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
