Founded in 1976, La Plaza Cultural in Alphabet City consists of 27,000 square feet of garden, gathering space, benches, ponds, and sculpture. The Winter Garden series, which decorates the garden's perimeter, is made from recycled materials, a reminder of the blooming and blossoming to come.
