One of the few upsides to this summer's seemingly endless heat wave is seeing our climatological misery transformed into art. Weather Beacon, Erik Guzman's kinetic sculpture in the World Financial Center Plaza, whirrs and clanks and lights up in response to atmospheric readings, allowing passersby to see weather in motion in a way that Rube Goldberg would love. Now if only it had a fan . . .
